Recommended Listen for Craniosacral Fans

If you’re a fan of craniosacral therapy, you likely know that it has a particular focus on working with fluids in the body.

Some of these fluids are physical in nature - for example, cerebrospinal fluid and interstitial fluid. Some of the fluids, meanwhile, are more energetic in nature. In craniosacral therapy, these fluids are commonly referred to as “tides.”

Working with these tides can bring balancing and resourcing, among other benefits. And it’s often fascinating for clients to feel these tides in their body during a session.

I recently came across a podcast episode which describes these tides in way that’s poetic, scientific, entertaining, and informative. I loved it and think you might too.

The episode is called, “Your Consciousness Comes from the Moon” by The Emerald podcast. Have a listen here.

The moon affects the tides we work with in craniosacral therapy. These tides are described in the recommended podcast mentioned above.
